Hi Alex, great post! I am also into deconstruction/reconstruction, and here it is generally with clothing construction. Gabriel and I are talking about what we will leave, and where we will add, and what. This can be scary, but is very necessary, and ultimately freeing. Stay safe! Love, Cathie, Robert, Gabriel, and Freya!

I LOVE this song, "From the City to the Ocean"!!! This song has something special... I found it so powerful to be able to say, "I'm certain that I am exactly where I need to be," despite all the difficulties you are facing.

I believe that leaving the past behind doesn’t necessarily mean losing it or forgetting about it. I think it simply becomes part of who you will become. We’ve already seen the freedom you are slowly but surely embracing — and it is beautiful to see!

So, keep walking towards that path! The moments of music on tour will be wonderful with that spirit!!!

I will always remember the first time I heard that song at Canadian Music Week many years ago. I believe Between Illness and Migration hadn’t even been released yet... It was the first time I heard the song, and it was very special. It felt like discovering music with new colors, as you like to say!

Thanks for also sharing the challenges you’re facing with us! We’re all facing challenges, but it’s through those that we thrive — and I undeniably see you thrive... which makes me want to take up the challenges ahead of me at the same time! Very inspiring!

I love how dedicated you are to sharing something meaningful for every single evening, right up until the very last minute! Every evening is “the furnace of the intangible”! ;)

I love to see Sef there back with you all on the rehearsal stage!

You have made so many courages steps to free yourself from the past, Alex! I'm sure this courage will always take you further in life, so it's only consequent that you also "face" this challenge of deconstructing/reconstructing these songs... They will not be destroyed, but will blossom into something new and surely different, but again they will be precious! Keep on, stay courageous!

Your brother Markus, see you hopefully in Maastricht and surely in Cologne!! ✌🏻&❤️
