My dear brothers, sisters, friends and loved ones,
As promised, it's time for me to bring you all into the Fajar Soul Dweller studio, ecstatic as I am to share a short fragment of a new song's sketch I've been dwelling in over the past few days.
Its working title is Run, Run, Run, and while the lyrics are not yet complete, the piece explores the emotional reality one must confront when facing an inner enemy. There are several explorative layers involved, all reflecting the paralyzing stillness that can overtake us, and the pressing need to break free from that oppressive nemesis living within.
Though not entirely distant from the aesthetic of my creative journey, I can already feel the undeniable transitional shift that has been stirring deep within me, ever since I made the choice to let my perspective migrate toward a more fulfilling, self-aligned joy, rather than maintaining my existence within the sterile inertia of status quo and resigning myself to be a surrogate for other people's life’s bitterness.
This renewed perspective is now guiding me toward another sonic voyage, one that feels entirely different from what I’ve previously dared to explore artistically. It transcends the limitations I once allowed to settle in from an intimate point of view. And because of that, the song carries within it the capacity to reveal elements mirroring my personal transformation, while offering a glimpse into where my contemplative spirit presently roams:
Between shadows and hope.
Between collapse and catharsis.
Between letting go and capitulating.
Perhaps Run, Run, Run is a necessary scream or an inward prayer never meant to be spoken aloud. Either way, I’m grateful to share this existential passage with you.
